K’s new dress

I made this cute little dress for my little girl.  She loves this thing and refused to take it off.  I got the pattern online, but at the moment I can’t find the link or the email that the pattern was sent to me from.  I also have a friend back from my young school days (I feel so old) that is wanting me to make her 2 daughters and her 2 nieces each a dress just like this one for their yearly family pictures.

My New Purse

I got tired of looking for the “right” purse for me that had plenty of pockets, the right size, was something I could fall in love it…and when I did find something, it was so outrageously priced!  So I went on a search for pattern for a purse.  After I found it, it was on search for just the right fabric to make it.  Along with my pattern for the purse, came a pattern for coin purse, which I use as a coupon and business card clutch.  And I found a pattern for a keychain to match them all.

Baby Shower Gifts

I have a friend who had a bird/birdcage theme for her nursery and was trying to get all of the d├ęcor all hand made.  So I made her a tag blanket and 2 pillows.  Pictured below is both the front and the back side of the pillows.  I found out I hate working with Minky material.  Not only is a pain to keep from stretching while sewing, it is MESSY to cut.

A friend was wanting a cape for her daughter, same age as my little K, so I did a make shift Super Hero cape for both of them.  The pink is for my friends daughter and the purple is for my K.
