Tonight I finished up a nursing cover for the same friend as the below diaper clutch. We both hate how the store bought ones are too short and never seem wide enough. So I made sure I made this one to put the others to shame! haha. J’s sister picked out a deep blue green eyelet fabric, although the photos make it look more of an aqua blue.

Diaper Clutch With Attached Changing Pad
Tonight I followed a new-to-me tutorial from Allison over at Cluck Cluck Sew for a Diaper Clutch with an attached changing pad for a friends sister. It will hold a travel wipes container along with up to 4 diapers. I used a terry cloth for the lining and just a regular cotton fabric for the outer lining.

Flower Pot Pocket Card
I had to send a package off to my mom, and K wanted to send something along with it, so I decided to make her a card. I used a Flower Pot Pocket Cut file from My Scrap Chick. A rolled rose from Crafty Blonde. A Cherry Blossom from SVGCuts. And a 9 petal flower I got from somewhere, the source of this one evades me. I used a pearl embellishment for the center of this flower. I inked to give the pot a dirty look and used my watercolor pencils to highlight. I made a rub on using my printer and transparency paper for the inside saying. The back of the inside card, K wrote Love K and I put her age and date on the bottom back so Gramma can remember when she got it.

K’s New Dress
K’s new dress is complete. After some trial and error, ripping seams apart and adjusting the fit a few times, the dress is finally complete. There are still some mistakes, and a bow that needs to be added at the neckline where the straps meet, but K was too excited to wear it, so I will add the bow later, after I can get it off of her.
And she gives it a twirl..

Pony
K insisted on a pony from my E for herself. She also wanted to do the embossing herself. So I pulled a couple of SVG pony images for her to choose from, she picked the Littlest Pet Shop pony like we did for a previous birthday card. She picked her colors and I cut out for it. K picked out the embossing folders that she wanted to use. I lined them up in the folders and let her use the Cuttlebug herself, since it is just a simple turn of the handle, I don’t mind letting her do it at this age (3.5yo). I then glued it together. K loves her pony and takes it with her everywhere.
I am working on making K a summer dress. I have the fabric cut, the instructions all typed up, and it is ready to start. Now if I could just get rid of this migraine I have had for the last couple of days I can get to sewing it up for her. After that, I have a baby shower gift order and a new purse for myself. So keep watch in the next few days to see the end results of each of them.

TuTus
K is in gymnastics, one of the girls mom (P) has become a friend of mine through the year we have been attending. P asked me if have made tutu’s before, as her nieces and friends were putting on a Mardi Gras event and wanted some tutu’s for their outfits. Silly me forgot to take photos when the girls were all here trying them on, so here is a photo of them just sitting on my table. There are a total of 6. One gold and five are the purple & green. The photos are kinda crappy, as they were taken with my camera phone, but you get the gist of it

Dance Bag
K is enrolled in dance (Ballet & Tap) and while she had a bag that was given to her for her shoes, I didn’t like the way the top of it was, her shoes kept falling out. So I searched online and found the cutest little tutu purse that was perfect. I figured now was the perfect time to update her bag since she was moving up to the next step in classes.
